The Crime Statistics Agency (CSA) is conducting a community consultation about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander crime data needs with a focus on Victoria Police contact data. The CSA has engaged with key stakeholders about these crime data requirements and would now like to engage with community.
The CSA is proud to release this community consultation paper (External link) which presents the draft findings, identified by those who work in the field, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander crime data needs. We give our gratitude to many Aboriginal people who have generously contributed their wisdom, experience, expertise and cultural insights.
The consultation will run until 5pm on 9 December 2019. The consultation paper (External link) includes instructions on how to make a submission or supply feedback. We welcome your views and look forward to hearing from you.
